We primarily perform fluid analysis on oil-filled electrical apparatus. Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) and physical, chemical, electrical (PCE) analysis of insulating fluids are our main focus.
We are located in Sacramento, California in the USA.
Typically a sample report is available within 7 working days. Many times we report much sooner than 7 working days. Special handling and rush analysis is available upon request.
A sampling kit which consists of a glass syringe and poly bottle is supplied free upon request. Analysis is performed on fluids in both the syringe and bottle.
We can test insulating fluids which come in several types. The most commonly used fluids are mineral oil, esters, silicone, r-temp, perchloroethylene and trichloroethylene.
Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) analysis can be performed and reported within 7 working days. PCB analysis can be perform on oil, wipe, soil, or water samples. Rush analysis is available upon request.
We can perform furan analysis on the oil and degree of polymerization (DP) on the kraft paper. Furan analysis gives only an estimated DP value.
